Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos Cathedral City is seeking a courteous food and beverage server to provide prompt service to casino and hotel guests. You will be knowledgeable about the menu, specials, beverages, and wine lists, and you will follow the correct sequence of service at all times.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to move up to 25 lbs, and willingness to work in a smoke-influenced, fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to our casino and hotel guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverages and wine lists.
• Follow the correct sequence of service at all times.
• Clear, clean, reset, and maintain station during shift.
• Assist other servers in giving the best possible service.
• Handle guests receipts according to internal controls.
• Assure F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Remain up-to-date on property events and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
• MAY be assigned to Food & Beverage work stations of the casino and/or hotel.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

Gaming Experience Not Required

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Restaurant & 1-2 years of related experience in full-service dining preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

• Stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time.
• May be subjected to a smoke-filled environment.
• Noise level is usually moderate but may increase in casino environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and have sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment, and multi-line telephone.
