Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Banquets & Events Attendant at Giants Ridge in Biwabik, MN. The role covers set-up, service and tear-down of banquet spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment and high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with event setup, cleaning, replenishing supplies, and coordinating with kitchen/sales staff. On-call scheduling applies, with some evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; flexibility with schedule.
• Willingness to learn food handling and sanitation practices.
• TIPS certification or ability to obtain certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet and event spaces per orders and directions.
• Provide friendly, professional service and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
• Monitor events, replenish food/beverages, clear tables, and support event staff.
• Operate POS system for monetary transactions and provide bar service when assigned.
