Paséa Hotel & Spa – Huntington Beach is seeking a Cook I for Banquets. This full-time on-site role supports banquet and catering events, preparing and presenting dishes with attention to quality, timing, and presentation.

You will work closely with team members to ensure efficient service and minimize waste. Ideal candidates have strong cooking skills, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and a commitment to safety and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience in a high-volume banquet or fine dining kitchen is preferred.
• Culinary Degree or formal training is preferred.
• Active or obtainable Food Handler or ServSafe Certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks, and presents items for Banquet Events, In Room Dining and Team Member Cafeteria menus with consistency, quality, and timeliness.
• Assists with organizing daily prep, coordinating line setup, and guiding cooks to ensure efficient workflow and high production standards.
• Oversees proper portioning, plating, and temperature control to ensure dishes meet established standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely while following sanitation, health, and safety protocols.
