Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is seeking a Banquets Chef de Partie to support our banquet and catering events. You will lead the line during service, help craft menu items, and ensure consistent quality across all banquet outlets.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of culinary experience, strong communication, and a Food Safe Certification, with the ability to thrive under pressure and weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of culinary experience.
• Must be 'Food Safe Certified'.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Experience in banquet/catering operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the culinary team of the dining outlet.
• Assist with creating menu recipes, specials, and inventory orders.
• Run the line and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef.
• Train staff on standards, menus, recipes, and cooking procedures.

The Opportunity :

Banquets Chef de Partie

Who We Look For :

We are looking for an individual who can provide culinary support to our Banquets team. Our unique meeting and event venues offer naturally lit indoor spaces and lush lawns and we are seeking a passionate individual to support the catering operation for these settings. Each event is perfectly tailored to the guest's needs, with menus ranging from light service bites, to full plated dinner services.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise the entire culinary team of the dining outlet
• Assist with creating menu recipes, creating specials, and completion of inventory orders
• Run the line, and entire kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef
• Lead the charge on all standards, train employees on standards and menus, recipes, and cooking procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of culinary experience
• Possess great communication skills and experience in using/working with a computer
• Must be "Food Safe Certified", and Birch Street knowledge is a plus
• A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, a nd peers.
• Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
• High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.
• A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability t o work weekends and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
