Job summary

Omni Nashville Hotel is seeking a Steward to support Food & Beverage operations. You will ensure all kitchen equipment and cookware are cleaned and ready for service, and you will assist with general kitchen duties according to Omni standards.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, shift flexibility including weekends and holidays, and professional presentation. Training and mentoring are provided in a dynamic, guest-focused environment in downtown Nashville.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with Supervisor and Department Manager.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and food for functions is available to waiters at the right time and wash/clean cookware to Omni standards.
• Clean pots, pans and all cookware; ensure sanitation.
• Keep kitchen floor clean and free of debris.
• Knowledge of floor maintenance, equipment, and chemical safety usage.
• Knowledge of dumpster procedures and cardboard.
• Waste removal and safe lifting practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
