Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking an Assistant Executive Steward to manage day-to-day F&B stewarding operations, control budgets, staffing, and inventory. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness in dish areas, kitchens, bars, and back docks, and standing in for the Executive Steward when needed.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, knowledge of sanitation standards, and 3–5 years of management experience in related areas.

Competenze

• Assocate degree or equivalent in hotel/restaurant management is required.
• Strong leadership and communication are essential.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and cost controls is needed.

Mansioni

• Monitor sanitation, attendance, scheduling, and training adherence.
• Assist the Executive Steward with SOPs, coaching, and discipline.
• Lead on-the-job and virtual training with shift managers.
• Oversee inventories and purchases for daily needs.
• Conduct health safety walk-throughs and address violations.
• Ensure training completion and incident reporting with LP.
• Supervise banquet setup/breakdown and stewarding operations.
• Inspect contracts with overnight cleaning personnel and scope.
• Delegate tasks to stewarding managers and supervisors.
• Develop banquet stewarding leaders and handle absence coverage.
