Job summary

MCR is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager - Banquet Stewarding at Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicagowith responsibilities spanning back-of-house operations, sanitation, and stewarding staff. The role ensures health compliance and supports F&B by managing dishwashing, banquet/restaurant prep, and deliveries while driving guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven food and beverage management experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, POS.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
• Communication and leadership skills.
• Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
• Guest-oriented and service-minded.
• Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee back-of-house cleanliness, sanitation and stewarding staff.
• Forecast, plan and manage food and beverage orders and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Train workers in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.
• Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities.
• Record production, operational, and personnel data as required.
• Inspect supplies and equipment and arrange for repairs as needed.
