Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is seeking a Banquet Houseman/Steward responsible for cleaning operations in the Banquets area and ensuring the banquet space is supplied with clean dishes and silverware for events.

You will set up banquet areas for events, coordinate with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership, monitor equipment, assist with inventory, and support a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in Banquets.

Responsibilities

• Creates an atmosphere encouraging guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati and mentors team members to deliver superior guest service.
• Follows and maintains department objectives, standards, and guidelines to ensure proper operation.
• Assists in ordering and receiving non-food items within the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring adequate par levels of inventory.
• Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments.
• Maintains open lines of communications with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage.
• Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Performs work regularly and predictably.
• Other duties as assigned.
