Job summary

Hilton Chicago on Michigan Avenue is seeking a Banquet Steward to support high-volume events and uphold exceptional hospitality standards. The role involves setting up banquet spaces, coordinating with serving and kitchen teams, and maintaining spotless event areas for guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of banquet steward experience in a large hotel, and can work mornings or evenings with open availability across weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous banquet steward experience in a large hotel.
• Shift pattern requires open availability 7 days a week including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and support service during events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain event cleanliness in banquet areas, back-of-house spaces, and storage areas.
• Assist banquet servers and kitchen teams with transporting equipment, food items, and service materials as needed.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Share expertise with new stewards to help strengthen team performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to protect guests and staff.
