Job summary

Trump National Golf Club Jupiter is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef to lead our high-volume banquet culinary team for weddings, tournaments and member events at our Jupiter, FL location.

You will supervise and train staff, direct daily banquet operations, and ensure food quality, presentation, and sanitation meet club standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional culinary experience.
• Strong banquet and high-volume culinary experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and execute recipes and banquet event orders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct banquet culinary operations and provide hands-on leadership.
• Supervise, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate banquet staff.
• Assign work, set production priorities, and adjust workflow.
• Prepare and direct food production for banquets, weddings, tournaments, and events.
• Review banquet event orders for menus, guest counts, and timing.
• Oversee food quality, presentation, portion control, and service standards.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and waste.
• Assist with food-cost and labor-cost management and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with Banquet Chef, Banquet Manager, service staff, and other departments for event success.
• Monitor employee performance and address issues as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient banquet kitchen operations.
