Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a Banquet Setup team member at its Roland property to prepare the space for banquet and catering events. You will arrange tables, chairs, décor, linens, and serving ware, ensuring every detail meets standards before guests arrive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to acquire a Food Handler’s Card from the Cherokee Nation.
• Must have passed Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights in casino/event settings.

Responsibilities

• Handle the proper setup and teardown of all banquet and catering functions, including tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, and décor.
• Ensure all aspects of setup and teardown are completed in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail for every event.
• Perform all assigned side duties per shift to support overall banquet operations.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards for shared areas of responsibility. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all team members and guests at all times.
