Job summary

Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ is seeking a part-time Banquet Houseperson to support event setup and guest services for meetings and functions. You will ensure rooms are prepared, water and AV are ready, and guest needs are addressed with professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting with banquet service, cleaning, and maintaining safety and energy guidelines while providing excellent service to attendees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banquet/hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet function rooms according to standards.
• Provide excellent guest service and address needs professionally.
• Ensure water, amenities, AV and breaks arrive in advance.
• Assist with banquet meal service and guest billing as needed.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate charges to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and energy conservation guidelines.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
