Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson is seeking a proactive Banquet Houseperson to efficiently set up and break down event spaces, ensuring every room is perfectly arranged and guest-ready. You will work closely with banquet teams to execute weddings, corporate galas, and social functions with precision.

The role requires physical stamina to lift 100+ pounds, a readiness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and a team-first attitude in a fast-paced, upscale hotel environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a mid- to high-volume banquet or upscale hotel/restaurant preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift/pull/push 100+ pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to set up rooms, arrange furniture, and respond to last-minute changes during events.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns per BEOs, including tables, chairs, staging, and decor.
• Ensure safe and precise placement of furniture and equipment for weddings, meetings, and functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet/ storage areas and assist with light equipment maintenance.
