Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Short Hills, NJ seeks a Banquet team member to support our events and guest experiences at the Hilton Short Hills. You will help set up meeting spaces, service guests, and collaborate with the banquets team to ensure seamless functions.

Your role requires physical stamina for moving tables, chairs, and staging, plus strong communication and a customer‑focused attitude. Weekend and evening availability is essential to meet event schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in event space setup, break-down, and room servicing.
• Weekend and evening availability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read diagrams and Banquet Event Orders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications and transport heavy equipment.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Communicate with supervisor during shifts.
