Job summary

The Pfister Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Banquet Set Up Associate in Milwaukee to maintain banquet facilities and set up rooms according to contracts and guest specifications. This part-time, hourly role offers opportunities to contribute to our high standards of service in a historic luxury hotel.

You'll work with the banquet team, handle setup and breakdown, and ensure equipment and linen are organized and ready for events, while adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and multitask.
• Availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic English skills to understand instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain banquet facilities by cleaning and vacuuming all banquet areas.
• Set up banquet rooms according to contracts and guest specifications.
• Provide service to customers as required by banquet contracts.
• Perform breakdown of function rooms after events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of setup areas, including closets, parking ramp (6A), and coatroom.
• Organize, control, and restock linen rooms and supplies.
• Monitor and maintain banquet equipment and storage inventory.
• Work collaboratively as part of the banquet setup team.
• Inform the Banquet Manager of damaged equipment or maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
