Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Banquet Setup Attendant to efficiently set up, tear down and clean banquet facilities for guest events. The role rewards attention to detail, direction-following, and mobility during busy events.

You will arrange tables and chairs, manage space cleaning, and assist with AV equipment and meal service, working with the hotel team to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of meeting room setup and guest etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure for extended periods while staying professional.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs intermittently.
• Experience with AV equipment and related tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and chairs to function specifications.
• Clean meeting spaces before and after events (vacuuming, mopping, etc.).
• Maintain banquet areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Close functions and end-of-day by clearing and locking banquet rooms.
• Set down, stack, and store equipment after events.
• Set up audio/visual equipment using tablet controls (lights, sound, screens).
• Assist with plating and delivering meals to banquet guests as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel team to deliver memorable service.
