Job summary

Hireology seeks a Banquet Setup attendant to efficiently set up, tear down, and clean banquet spaces for guest events. You will set tables and chairs, arrange AV equipment, and assist with meals as needed.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. You will lift up to 75 lbs and stay active in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of meeting room setup and service standards.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure for extended periods while maintaining professionalism.
• Flexibility to work days, mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to walk/stand for a majority of shift.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs intermittently.
• Experience with AV equipment and technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
• Clean meeting space before and after events (vacuum, sweep, mop, wipe, wash walls).
• Maintain banquet area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Clear and lock banquet rooms at end of function/workday.
• Set up and store equipment after events.
• Set up AV technology equipment (lights, music, screens).
• Assist with plating/dishing meals to guests as needed.
• Collaborate with hotel team to deliver memorable service.
