Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Set-Up team member to perform set up and breakdown of banquet spaces at Hyatt Centric Las Olas - Fort Lauderdale. This role requires standing for long periods, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Responsibilities include reviewing BEOs, arranging space per event, and reporting any repairs needed, while adhering to safety standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required; experience is not necessary and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and complete setup accordingly.
• Break down banquet space after event.
• Maintains a strong knowledge of various types of set-up.
• Check equipment and electrical hook ups for proper working order.
• Ensure the equipment is handled and stored safely.
• Keep the function room area and storage area clean and organized.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
