Job summary

Boston Marriott Newton, a premier property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio, is hiring a Banquet Set-Up Attendant. You will direct setup and preparation of banquet rooms for events, as well as tear down at the end of functions.

We value individuals who are detail-oriented, work well in fast-paced settings, and provide outstanding guest experiences. This role requires physical stamina and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior banquet event setup experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and punctual with a customer-service mindset.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference equipment per event order.
• Clean classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms daily.
• Refresh meeting spaces during breaks.
• Move materials between docks and guest areas.
• Assist with tearing down and resetting rooms after events.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve issues.
