Island Hospitality Management, LLC. is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and appearance of banquet facilities, meeting rooms, and surrounding areas.

You’ll set up and break down banquet and meeting spaces per BEOs, assist with food and beverage service, and support events to ensure a seamless guest experience. The role involves cleaning public areas, transporting and stocking service stations, and collaborating with Banquet, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Desk

Qualifications

• Be readily available, approachable, and professional when interacting with guests, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Anticipate guest needs and address requests, concerns, and special accommodations.
• Assist banquet guests with inquiries, directions, and event-related requests.
• Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude and collaborate with banquet and food & beverage teams.

Responsabilités

• Set up, arrange, and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas according to BEOs and hotel standards.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and other event equipment per event requirements.
• Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready before each event.
• Assist with transporting, setting up, and replenishing food and beverage stations and service areas.
• Support banquet servers with service, including serving and clearing plates, glassware, and utensils.
• Assist with buffet service, replenish supplies, and keep stations clean and organized.
• Respond promptly to guest requests during functions and coordinate with teams for smooth service.
• Clear tables, remove used items, and maintain cleanliness during events.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting spaces for upcoming functions.
• Handle banquet furniture, equipment, china, glassware, and silverware carefully to minimize damage.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
