Job summary

Island Hospitality seeks a Banquet Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and presentation of banquet facilities, assist with event setup and breakdown, and support banquet service to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role covers setting up spaces per event orders, transporting and replenishing service stations, and collaborating with multiple hotel teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, arrange, and break down banquet rooms and spaces per BEOs and standards.
• Assist with food and beverage service and buffet areas during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities and public areas.
• Coordinate with banquet, kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, and front desk teams.
• Assist with post-event cleanup and resetting spaces for upcoming functions.
