Job summary

Remington Hotels Memphis is seeking a banquet assistant to clean and set up function rooms, ensuring all equipment is ready for events and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the banquet area.

You will work as part of a team, coordinating with vendors and staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences while handling flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to busy event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Completely and efficiently clean and set up all function rooms according to customer specifications on event order.
• Ensure all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly; coordinate with A/V provider.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet space, vacuum and shampoo carpets, dust walls and dividers, mop service areas.
• Return electrical equipment to banquet storage and keep storage area tidy.
• Promptly remove bus pans from function areas when full.
