Job summary

Memphis Marriott East is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to clean and set up function rooms and ensure A/V equipment is ready for events. This full-time role requires attention to detail and a guest-focused approach to deliver exceptional experiences.

You will work with a team to maintain clean banquet spaces, assist with event execution, and adapt to varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and set up all function rooms according to event orders.
• Set up and verify audio/visual equipment; coordinate with A/V company.
• Keep banquet areas clean and in working order; vacuum, dust, mop.
• Return electrical equipment to storage and maintain a clean storage area.
• Remove bus pans from function areas when full.
