Job summary

Marriott Memphis East in Memphis, TN is seeking a Banquet Houseperson-FT flex to clean and set up all function rooms according to event orders, and to ensure A/V equipment is ready and functioning.

The role requires a team-oriented, guest-focused individual who can work nights, weekends and holidays, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in banquet spaces.

Responsibilities

• Completely and efficiently clean and set up all function rooms according to customer specifications on event order.
• Ensure audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly; coordinate with A/V company.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet space; vacuum and shampoo carpets, dust walls and dividers, mop service areas.
• Return electrical equipment to storage; keep storage area clean at all times.
• Promptly remove bus pans from function areas when full.
