Job summary

Montage International, operator of Pendry hotels, is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support daily setup and breakdown of banquet events, maintaining a pristine ballroom environment and coordinating with staff.

You will join a luxury hospitality team on-site, with benefits including healthcare, 401k, hotel discounts, and meals; weekend/holiday availability is required, and prior banquet experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily set-up and break-down of banquet events.
• Own the full-cycle process of cleaning and setting of meeting rooms and banquet functions.
• Vacuum floors, cleaning of walls, windows, and mirrors; proper care, movement, and storage of equipment.
• Properly controlling and storing meeting room supplies, such as linens, pads, pens/pencils, and meeting amenities as required.
• Assist in servicing meeting rooms by removing trash, clearing dirty plates, cups, glasses, and/or linens; straightening chairs; and replenishing water as specified or requested.
• Deliver on guest’s expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs.
