Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to set up and break down banquet functions and meeting rooms. You will handle room layouts, buffets or plated service, and ensure all equipment and decor meet client specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of banquet houseperson experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a PA gaming license. This role requires physical stamina and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience: Two–three years of banquet houseperson experience is preferred.
License: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet meeting rooms and banquet food and beverage functions.
Prepare buffets, plated table sets, audio visual equipment, dance floor, staging, pipe and drape, tables, chairs, linen and decorations as described by the client or manager.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities and meeting spaces.
Transport dirty linens, restock linens, and care for banquet supplies.
