Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Greensburg is seeking a banquet houseperson to set up and breakdown event spaces, refresh rooms, and manage banquet equipment according to BEOs and floor plans. The role requires physical work, including lifting, and a readiness to work nights, weekends, or holidays.

Candidate should have 2–3 years of banquet houseperson experience and certifications such as RAMP and Serv-Safe. A valid PA gaming license is required or obtainable for the position.

Qualifications

• Two–three years of banquet houseperson experience preferred.
• Must be RAMP and Serv-Safe certified.
• May require nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license per Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

• Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to BEOs and floor plans; chairs, tables, linen, displays, etc.
• Refresh meeting rooms during scheduled breaks or upon request.
• Breakdown and clean-up of event space in a timely and safe fashion.
• Storage and organization of banquets equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from BEOs.
• Familiar with room setups (classroom, rounds, hollow square, etc.).
• Maintain pace in a fast-paced environment and accommodate last-minute changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
