Live! Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to set up and break down event spaces in a fast-paced casino environment. The role involves maintaining banquet equipment, organizing storage, and following BEOs and floor plans.

The position requires 2–3 years of banquet houseperson experience and certifications (RAMP and Serv-Safe). Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is often needed, and eligibility for a gaming license is required by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Qualifications

• Two–three years of banquet houseperson experience preferred.
• Must be RAMP and Serv-Safe certified.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

• Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to BEOs and floor plans; chairs, tables, linens, displays, etc.
• Refresh meeting rooms during scheduled breaks or upon request.
• Breakdown and clean-up of event space in a timely and safe fashion.
• Storage and organization of banquet equipment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from BEOs.
• Familiar with various room setups (classroom, rounds, hollow square, etc.).
• Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment and accommodate last-minute changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 75lbs or more at times. Roll at least 10 banquet chairs at a time.
• Physically fit, able to stand/walk/move for extended hours.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
