HHM Hotels in Philadelphia is hiring a Banquet House Attendant to set up, break down, and service meeting rooms in line with guest service and sustainability standards.

You will move tables, chairs, and equipment, maintain clean rooms, respond to guest requests, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds; opportunities exist for part- and full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet set up or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms according to banquet event orders to meet guest expectations.
• Transport heavy materials safely using proper equipment.
• Break down meeting rooms and return items to storage in a neat, organized fashion.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Respond to guest requests for service changes in room setup.
• Handle guest complaints personally or with supervisor assistance.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
