Job summary

Bethesda Country Club in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to help prep event spaces, support the banquet service team, and keep areas clean and presentation-ready during weddings, celebrations, and club events.

You will set up and break down banquet rooms, stock linens and service items, assist banquet servers and bartenders, clear and reset tables, and work closely with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Banquet/hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Prepare dining and event spaces according to established layouts and club standards.
• Keep dining rooms, server stations, bars, and service areas clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Assist banquet servers and bartenders with food and beverage service as needed.
• Clear and reset tables throughout events.
• Replenish supplies, linens, glassware, china, and other service items.
• Assist with moving and storing banquet equipment safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to requests from banquet staff, members, and guests.
• Help ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
• Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, supervisors, and other banquet staff.
