Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Banquet Setup/Breakdown Attendant to join our team at a world‑class property. This role directs setup and preparation of banquet rooms for functions, and assists with tear down after events, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.

You will lift and move heavy conference equipment, maintain safety and cleanliness, follow instructions, and provide exceptional guest care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 pounds, good communication and guest relation skills, ability to follow directions.
• Availability to work varying hours, evenings, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and arranges conference equipment in conference rooms per client needs.
• Requiring lifting a variety of conference tables weighing 5-70 pounds; pulling and folding risers into place each weighing 150 pounds; lifting 25 pound 3’ x 3’ dance floor sections and bending down to construct them.
• Walking and pushing 300-pound large equipment carts.
• Attend to any requests by guests in the conference center.
• Maintain conference equipment by checking all aspects of equipment requiring bending and kneeling to floor level to check legs on chairs, tables.
