Philadelphia Marriott Old City is seeking a Banquet Houseman/Set up to support events in our hotel in Philadelphia, PA. You’ll be responsible for setting up, cleaning, and breaking down banquets to ensure every function meets guest needs.

This role requires physical activity (lift up to 50 pounds), flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, and a passion for customer service. On-the-job training and hotel discounts are available.

Qualifications

• At least one month of related banquet/food and beverage experience.
• Passion for customer service and ability to work with a diverse team.
• Able to work calmly under pressure and follow guest specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up all banquets to the specifications of the guest.
• Break down and clean up banquets at the conclusion of the event.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
