Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant to join our team at The DeSoto Savannah in Savannah, GA. This role supports event setups, assists in dining room arrangements, and collaborates with banquets staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Minimum one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role and a high school education are required. The position offers a full-time schedule, competitive benefits, and opportunities for career growth within SHG.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in hotel/restaurant serving role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Read and execute meeting/dining room diagrams for spaces, indoors and outdoors.
• Complete the physical set up and arrangement of tables, A/V & equipment according to the diagram.
• Assist in setting and breaking buffet tables and bars during and after events.
• Set up a room with F&B equipment.
• Arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
• Assist servers with duties such as arranging plates, delivering items to bars, and setting up beverage stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including lobbies, parking lots, smoking areas, and restrooms.
• Exhibit teamwork and leadership to ensure efficient event setup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
