Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant to join our team. You will read meeting and dining room diagrams, perform the physical setup of tables, A/V equipment, buffets, stages, and podiums, and assist servers during events.

You’ll help keep spaces clean and work with the team to ensure events run smoothly. Minimum of a High School education and at least one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams for event layouts.

Responsibilities

• Read meeting/dining room diagrams for spaces, indoors and outdoors.
• Complete setup of tables, A/V equipment, according to diagrams.
• Assist in setting and breaking buffet tables and bars during events.
• Set a room with F&B equipment and arrange buffets, stages and podiums.
• Assist servers by arranging plates and running items to bars.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas and assist with bussing tables.
• Exhibit teamwork to ensure efficient event setup.
