HEI Hotels and Resorts in Baltimore's Inner Harbor is seeking a Banquet Assistant to support the Banquet Manager in preparing for events and ensuring a positive guest experience. The role requires moving heavy equipment, setting up meeting rooms, stocking water and glassware, and returning rooms after functions.

You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs, with additional capacity up to 500 lbs for equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Significant physical activity during shift for room setup and breakdown.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 500 lbs with equipment.
• Stand for long periods and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to stay updated on work.
• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including moving heavy items.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms and ballrooms.
• Adhere to attendance requirements and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
