Job summary

Concord is seeking a Banquet Set-Up team member to prepare and reset event spaces according to the Banquet Event Order, ensuring guest needs are met and spaces remain pristine.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, keen attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced hotel environment. Must be able to lift up to heavy loads and be available to work varied hours in coordination with events.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months experience working in a hotel banquet setting.
• Eye for detail and ability to notice issues quickly.
• Willingness to adapt hours to events and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event space per Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Attend to guest needs throughout the event.
• Ensure public spaces are clean and presentable during events.
• Check supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
• Store furnishings properly and report repairs as needed.

As Banquet Set-Up, you will

• Set up and break down event space, ensuring set up according to Banquet Event Order
• Assure Guest needs are attended to
• Attend to all public spaces throughout the event for consistent clean presentation
• Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and equipment is set up and functioning properly
• Keep track of event supplies, equipment and carefully store furnishings when not in use, promptly reporting repair and maintenance needs.

Job Requirements

This position requires full mobility, continuous movement and heavy lifting, up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently (moving furniture, equipment, staging, etc

Must have eye for detail, team player, and be willing to be flexible on hours as this role can coincide with the events of the hotel.
