Now Hiring – Banquet Set Up/Houseman - Starting rate: $15.00/hr

You excel in a fast-paced environment where every day is different and you are energized with a passion to please others. Your sharp eye for detail quickly spots when something’s amiss and when guests have needs. A valued team member who smoothly handles the difficult and unexpected, you "get" that your contribution is vital to the event’s success. Experience is not necessary.

As Banquet Set-Up, you will:

1. Set up and break down event space, ensuring set up according to Banquet Event Order.
2. Attend to guest needs.
3. Maintain cleanliness in all public spaces throughout the event.
4. Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and equipment is set up and functioning properly.
5. Keep track of event supplies and equipment, store furnishings when not in use, and promptly report repair and maintenance needs.

Job Requirements

This position requires full mobility, continuous movement, and heavy lifting, up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently (moving furniture, equipment, staging, etc.).

Must have an eye for detail, be a team player, and be willing to be flexible on hours as this role can coincide with the hotel’s event schedule.
