Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, CA, is seeking an on-call/entry-level Banquet Set-Up Houseperson to join the Events team. You will set up and break down event spaces, manage tables, chairs, and water stations, and work closely with a dynamic events crew to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and flexible weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weights during setups/breakdowns.
• Ability to read floor plans and event instructions to ensure accurate setup.
• Strong communication to follow directions and coordinate with team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to meet event timelines.

Responsibilities

The Banquet Set-Up Position is a Banquet Houseperson position for our Events team. You'll be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, including tables, chairs, and water stations. Strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage physical tasks are key to success in this role.

The hourly pay for this position is $17.00, with the opportunity to earn Service Charges. This is the pay rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.
