Job summary

Hyatt Grand Hyatt Seattle is seeking an On-Call Banquet Captain to lead our Banquet Team during events and ensure flawless execution. You will coach staff, coordinate service aspects, and help present linen, table setups, and beverage service to guests.

• Perform general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and ensure a sanitary environment.
• Oversee on-site operations and ensure top-quality guest service during events.

Banquet Captains are experienced and the finest of banquet servers. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.27/hour to $20.68/hour. The starting rate for this position is $20.27/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more and are of full or part-time status, which is currently offered at $20.68/hour.
