Job summary

The Proud Bird is seeking a friendly Banquet Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. You will set up banquet rooms, greet guests, serve meals and beverages, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Greet guests and guide them to tables; serve meals and beverages.
• Coordinate timing with kitchen for smooth service.
• Monitor cleanliness and presentation of dining areas and ensure tables are cleared efficiently.
• Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders and staff for seamless service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
