Job summary

Walters Hospitality is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join The Laiken at Lake Travis in Lago Vista, Texas. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional service during weddings and events, setting up banquet areas, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You'll report to the Operations Manager and work weekends or event-driven shifts. Must have Texas TABC and Food Handlers licenses, and be able to lift 30 lbs and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities.
• Education: TABC liquor license and Food Handlers license in Texas are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet areas, including moving tables and chairs, according to event specifications on the BEO
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Serve food, plated and buffet, and beverages, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and anticipate their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the event.
• Execute closing duties, including but not limited to clearing tables, breaking down banquet areas, and storing equipment.
• Work closely with the culinary and planning team to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with fellow servers to provide efficient and attentive service.

Compensation & Schedule:
