Be a part of the newest luxury hotel in downtown LA, Conrad Los Angeles! As part of the billion-dollar project, The Grand LA, this is the 7th Conrad Hotel in the U.S. and the 1st in California.
Located in Downtown LA’s cultural corridor, Conrad Los Angeles is the city’s newest luxury destination, featuring over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and three dynamic dining experiences—including our signature restaurant, San Laurel, all in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup.
As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to ensure outstanding guest service.
The ideal candidate will have previous food serving experience, preferably in luxury banquet settings. Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette is essential. Familiarity with table settings, service ware, menu items, and some wine knowledge is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, remember menu items, and promote them. Ability to transport up to 50 lbs., operate beverage and toast equipment, and carry three or more plates is required. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand and walk for full shifts are necessary. Must obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire if applicable.

The hourly rate is $16.50, based on experience and location.
