Located in Downtown LA’s cultural corridor, Conrad Los Angeles is the city’s newest luxury destination, featuring over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and three dynamic dining experiences—including our signature restaurant, San Laurel, all in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup.

As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, contributing to the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate will have previous food serving experience, preferably in luxury banquet settings. Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, etiquette, table settings, service ware, menu items, and some wine knowledge is required. Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate effectively with guests. Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs., operate beverage and toast equipment, and carry three or more plates. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. Ability to work a full 8-hour shift while walking and standing is required. Candidates must obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and California Food Handler Cards within 30 days of hire if applicable.

What will I be doing?

• Set banquet tables according to function specifications.
• Carry trays up to 50 lbs. and serve food, beverages, and condiments to banquet guests in a friendly manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Clear and deliver dirty china, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen.
• Remove china, glassware, and silverware quietly at the end of meals.
• Set and display food and beverages on buffet tables, requiring the movement of large wheeled tables. Serve guests and clear tables, delivering dirty items to the kitchen.

The hourly rate is $16.50, based on experience and location.
