Description

Position Purpose:

Set up banquet rooms and serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to Pyramid Hotels' high standards of quality.

Essential Functions:

• Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the Banquet Captain, including linen, serviceware, and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously and promptly.
• Serve food and beverages in the order and manner expected by the Banquet Captain, ensuring consistency throughout the banquet. Clear dishes promptly after each course or at the end of the meal or event.
• Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for satisfaction.
• Practice teamwork and adhere to "Clean as you go" policies.
• After the banquet, reset the room according to the Captain's specifications and ensure sanitation of banquet areas for the next function.
• Attend mandatory monthly departmental meetings.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
