Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is seeking friendly event servers to join our on-call team. You will help prepare banquet spaces, present menus, arrange linen and settings, and provide beverage service during events.

Ideal candidates have two years of food and beverage serving experience, open availability on Friday and Saturday evenings, and a good knowledge of service standards and guest relations. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Two years previous food and beverage serving experience required.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Working knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service-ware, and menu items.
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English sufficiently to understand menus and communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Event servers make the function space visually appealing and present the menu offerings.
• Assist with linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service.
• General banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Job Overview

Qualifications

• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the entire variety of exciting menu items


• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 50lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.


• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.


• Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.
