Job summary

Hyatt Regency San Antonio is seeking an Event Set Up Houseperson to efficiently set up and break down meeting spaces, ensuring guest comfort and readiness for events. This role requires clear communication and the physical ability to lift and move heavy items in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with open availability seven days a week.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds overhead and push approximately 75 pounds.
• Ability to walk andstand for long periods of time.
• Must have open availability 7 days a week.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down all meeting spaces (tables, chairs, etc.).
• Demonstrate good communication and physical ability for lifting/pushing/pulling moderate weight in a fast-paced environment.

The Event Set Up Houseperson is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces: tables, chairs, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.
