1. Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using their name when possible.
2. Anticipate guests' needs by asking questions and observing preferences, acting on them whenever possible.
3. Thank guests sincerely and provide a warm farewell.
4. Respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests, using brand or property-specific processes to resolve issues and build trust. Engage guests about their stay, services, and local attractions.
5. Maintain quality assurance standards.
6. Present accurate checks and process payments, adhering to cash handling and credit policies, including gratuity management.
7. Answer menu-related questions and consult kitchen staff for clarification when needed.
8. Keep work areas clean throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
9. Communicate special meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and requests to the kitchen.
10. Set tables according to event and service standards, ensuring quality of linens, glassware, chinaware, and utensils.
11. Follow procedures for serving alcohol responsibly.
12. Record transactions promptly at the time of order.
13. Follow safety and security policies to maintain a safe environment.
14. Complete closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, equipment storage, and securing the premises.

Qualifications

• Adhere to timelines for setup completion.
• Work effectively under pressure.
• Follow instructions accurately, both verbally and in writing.
• Be highly detail-oriented.
• Have at least 1 year of server experience.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.

This position starts at $16.50/hour.
