Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an On Call Banquet Server who excels in luxury service and guest engagement. You will support banquet events with knowledge of food and beverage, ensuring seamless service from setup to breakdown.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant luxury-hotel experience, strong English communication, and the ability to balance a tray. This role requires attentiveness and a proactive service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table, maintain knowledge of selections, and relay guest orders to Banquet Manager or kitchen.
• Check kitchen orders against guest orders and transport items to tables promptly.
• Assist in setup of linens, china, glass, silverware, and accent pieces for events as per banquet order.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and respond to concerns urgently and appropriately.
• Breakdown and reset tables, buffets, and food stations.

Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an On Call Banquet Server who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Banquet Server reports to the Assistant Banquet Manager and serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do:

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection's, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen;
• check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations

What you will bring:

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 1-year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
