Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver high-quality food and service in a friendly, knowledgeable manner during events.

You will set up banquet rooms, serve meals and beverages, maintain professional appearance, communicate clearly with staff, and help ensure event success while staying physically capable of lifting and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years or older.
• You have refined verbal and written communication skills.
• You are able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• You are able to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30lbs without assistance.
• You are able to stand and/or walk entire shift.
• You have prior knowledge of POS systems.
• You are able to occasionally lift products weighing up to 50lbs.
• You are consistently available nights and weekends.
• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

• Properly set up banquet room(s) as instructed including linen and china
• Serve food and/or beverage; ensuring consistency throughout event
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude and mannerism
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall event success
• During event, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success of the event
• Once banquet is complete, all linen, silverware, china and trays must be removed from space
