Job summary

Join MGM Springfield as a Banquet Server to help create memorable events with energy, a welcoming smile, and exceptional service. You will guide guests through all phases of banquets, greet arrivals, and assist with seating while maintaining clean, well-run event spaces.

We value a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant server experience in busy settings. Day shifts are available, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a server in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Availability for day shift, but flexible for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through all phases of their banquet experience.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of service requirements for each function (pre-function, menu, presentation).
• Greet guests, assist with seating and maintain service flow.
• Set up, refresh and break down coffee breaks, receptions and buffet tables according to requirements.
• Follow standard service procedures and anticipate guest needs.
